Success Stories

Our Franchise Partners know the Beef ‘O’ Brady’s® system best. Here's what they have to say about joining the Beef’s family.

"We have customers who visit us four or five times a week and will pick us over almost anyone else."
-Yvonne Wood, Thomasville & Bainbridge, GA

"Our customers are very loyal to us because we are family-owned and donate back to our community.  They tell us all the time that they are very appreciative for what we do for their schools, church, etc."
 -Stacy Bratcher, Owensboro, KY

"90% of our customers are regulars who come at least 2 times a month."
-Tim Bosko, Lakeland, FL

"My customer has just driven by 45 other restaurants on Dale Mabry to get to mine for the fourth time this week because he knows what to expect each and every time he is in my establishment."
-Thomas McHale, Tampa- Northdale & Tampa- Citrus Park, FL

"Our store is owner-operated and our family members are servers and bussers.  We are involved in the community through sports, academics, charity events – you name it, we try it.  We are striving to become the ‘third’ place in our customer’s mind and have already achieved it with many of our customers."
-Yvonne Wood, Thomasville & Bainbridge, GA

"In our restaurant, we play as a team.  We have two choices: to look good together or to look bad together.  We choose to look good."
-Tim Bosko, Lakeland, FL

"Our mission is to be the best choice for sports and family casual dining.  We strive to give our customers the best experience from the minute they walk through the door until the time they leave."
-Thomas McHale, Tampa- Northdale & Tampa - Citrus Park, FL

"Even more than our food, the customers enjoy the family atmosphere and personalized service we provide them. We greet them by name as they enter and we have their favorite beverage ready for them at their favorite table even before they get a chance to sit down. Our customers enjoy our table visits and the small talk that goes along with it. It’s our regulars that keep us in business and have become our best form of advertising."
 -Ed Conlan, Apopka FL

"Our customers enjoy coming to Beef’s® because we make them feel at home. We know their names, their kid’s names and even their grandkid’s names! We know what they want to order before they even sit down. The kids love Beef’s® because of our game room and the freedom they have to roam around and visit their friends while their parents finish eating or watch the big game. We constantly strive to provide great service and great food."
-Stacy Bratcher, Owensboro, KY

"Our customers feel comfortable here- it’s their ‘third’ place after work and home. Everybody knows their name."
-Tim Bosko, Lakeland, FL

"I see it as I am a host of a party each and every day. I provide my customers with an experience. They have fun, we know their name and they get great food and service. I strive to be the best host I can be to keep my customers coming back week after week."
-Thomas McHale, Tampa- Northdale & Tampa- Citrus Park, FL

"I liked the sports and family environment that this concept provides. A big selling point for me was that I was able have some leeway in shaping my Beef’s® to reflect me as an Owner/Operator. You have to sincerely love interacting with people on a regular basis to be a successful Beef’s® owner."
-Ed Conlan, Apopka FL

"For my family, being family-friendly was the key selling point."
-Tim Bosko, Lakeland, FL

"I feel my customers not only come for great food and sports packages but most of all, the camaraderie."
-Thomas McHale, Tampa- Northdale & Tampa- Citrus Park, FL

"Being an owner has caused our family to expand by encompassing our employees and their families, our guests and their families. We are genuinely concerned about what happens to each other and we are there for one another. I know that if I need help I could pick up the phone and call a local franchisee or the Home Office and have the help I need or be pointed in the right direction. Having that kind of relationship with other stores is comforting and strengthening."
-Yvonne Wood, Thomasville & Bainbridge, GA

"It is nice to have the ability to share your issues, challenges and successes with your fellow operators. I always learn something from another operator every time I visit their Beef’s® or attend a meeting."
-Ed Conlan, Apopka FL

"We would not have been as successful as we are without the help of the Beef's Family. Whenever I have a question or need advice I can get an answer from either Home Office or another partner in a timely manner."
-Stacy Bratcher, Owensboro, KY

"Dedication, Community involvement and pride!"
- Tim Bosko, Lakeland, FL

"My father grew up with Mr. Mellody in Scranton and remained close to him throughout the years. Mr. Mellody would stop over at our house in Bowie, MD every summer because his sister-in-law lived close by. He would always joke with me about how easy his restaurant was to run and maintain. Little did I know, this was a big joke! With my good friend Rich Harlin, I moved to Tampa in 1992 to see if I could be an entrepreneur. This was tough because I came from such a big family and would be missing out on a lot but the Mellody’s made my transition easy. They took me in on every holiday and special occasions. They introduced me to some great business partners, like Lou DeLeo and Don Bosko who were there for me when I had any questions or concerns about our concept. Without this family, I would not be who I am today. I've been very blessed to have three great families in my life...The McHale’s, The Mellody’s and Beef ‘O’ Bradys®."
-Thomas McHale, Tampa- Northdale & Tampa- Citrus Park, FL

"Community involvement is the single most important element of operating a Beef's®. This includes supporting the local youth athletics, schools, churches, and various charities within your market area."
-Ed Conlan, Apopka FL

"We have a fundraiser every Monday and Wednesday night for several organizations in our community from schools to churches to individuals who have been diagnosed with a serious illness. These nights not only help others financially, but also create a sense of family/community in the restaurant because everyone is there for the same cause."
 -Stacy Bratcher, Owensboro, KY

"Community Involvement is an absolute must to be a successful Beef ‘O’ Brady’s®.”

-Tim Bosko, Lakeland, FL

"You should be recognized by at least one person when you walk into your Home Depot or local supermarket. If not, you’re not involved in your community. Some Beef’s owners, like Peter Ennis and Aaron Carricato, get called the ‘Mayor’ of their community."
-Thomas McHale, Tampa- Northdale & Tampa- Citrus Park, FL
